the bride only package (the main event) is $1,750 and covers a hair and makeup trial at her denver studio, day-of hair and makeup, travel up to 85 miles and an hour of getting-ready touch ups. extra guests are $350 each for hair and makeup, past 85 miles it's $2/mile and parking is extra. that package is her minimum booking

an out of state bride couldn't get in for a trial so cate ran a zoom consult instead and it worked on the day. she also did a queer couple's elopement in crested butte on a photographer's referral. apparently she steers people off spray makeup in colorado's dry air but will do it on request, and it held fine. Cate also does hair for the bridal look, not just makeup, and will travel on location for weddings in addition to studio appointments.

Cate works out of a Denver studio at 840 Santa Fe Dr, by appointment only. A January 2025 review said Cate matched clip-in extensions to her hair color and length, and Cate's associate Tia did makeup for her sister-in-law, bridesmaids and stepmother that looked flawless all day. Her faq says brides usually book about 9 months out, Saturdays June through October go fastest, and more than 8 services adds a second artist to the invoice.

so i went through the cate hair makeup site and the packages are posted, bride only starts at $1,750 with the trial and travel built in, and the faq says no extra fees for early mornings, thick hair or touch ups. what stood out was the intro on their site, cate goes by they/she, feels genuinely lgbt friendly not just a logo. the site also says she only takes one booking a day and stays to put your veil in after you get dressed instead of rushing off to another job
