LAPOMPE (also billed as La Pompe Jazz) is a Denver gypsy jazz group, a four-piece on their site: David Lawrence on guitar and vocals, a second guitar, upright bass and violin. The sound is hot club swing in the Django Reinhardt vein, running from American tin pan alley standards to French ballads and their own originals. They play public shows around Denver and post them on their site calendar, so you can catch them before booking. A WeddingWire review from october 2025 called them an absolute showstopper. Booking goes through David by phone or the form on their site.
