SpringHill Suites by Marriott Avon Vail Valley

The property feels newer per reviews, with an outdoor pool and hot jacuzzi that reviewers specifically praised for the mountain views while soaking. Front desk staff are called consistently friendly. Standard continental breakfast for the brand, included with the room. No wedding block terms published on their site, so this would be a call to their sales team for group rates. They also host small weddings and events, with 3 event rooms totaling 1,515 sq ft (the largest holds 40) and a patio fire pit they pitch for receptions, per their events page.

- Big watch-out from a 3-star review: thin walls, you can hear every footstep and voice from neighboring rooms, kids running the hallway feels like an earthquake - Same complaint mentions loud bathroom slider doors from neighboring rooms - On the plus side, staff named Sadie, Ruby, and Jeffrey at the bar got called out by name as wonderful in a 4-star review - Gas station next door for basics, standard breakfast for the brand - They also run a shuttle for guests, worth asking about pickup times
